K006 - Heavy Cabling and SDMB5 in Duct
This module is essential for any Engineer or Contractor provisioning FTTP strategic underground and underground cabling. It will assess the delegate's understanding and ability to safely use equipment and methods for heavy cabling and Sub-duct Mono-bore 5 (SDMB5) installation and repair.
The delegate will set up a site for cabling activities and perform heavy cabling and SDMB5 installation in the access network. This will involve utilizing Duct Motors, winches, cable drum trailers (CDTs), and rodding machines according to current working practices and quality standards.
