This accreditation sets out the requirements for implementing thesafe working practices for Leaning Ladder & Flat RoofAccreditation to candidates where works is undertaken in dwellings, including multi occupancy units. It is intended that during this training all learners will gain an understanding of the hazards and potential risks of leaning ladders and flat roof access, whilst developing the required knowledge to implement safe working methods via the use of fall protection equipment, that will enable these systems to be used safely.

This accreditation course is available to anyone over the age of 16 who can reach the required standard, is medically fit to attend, and have previously gained competence and experiencein the setting up, usingand inspection of leaning ladders.
