Description

This course is intended for candidates who wish to act as Engineering Supervisors on Network Rail’s infrastructure.
Post mentoring and Interim Assessments are required mid term, prior to re-certification every two years which consists of a one day classroom based course and assessment.

Course Aims

Upon successful completion of the course candidates will be able to:
• Carry out Engineering Supervisor’s duties competently in accordance with the Rule Book and industry standards
• Set up and take charge of a worksite for any work on or near the line in an Engineer’s Possession

Accreditation

PQMS Limited will upload the relevant competence outcome(s) and result(s) to the Sentinel system.

Prerequisites

• Must be literate in English
• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
• Must hold a current Sentinel Track Safety Certificate endorsed with PTS (not under learning support) & full IWA or COSS.
• Must meet the relevant requirements of Network Rail Standard NR/L2/OHS/00124 medical fitness.
• Must meet the requirements of Network Rail Standard NR/L1/OHS/051 Drugs and Alcohol
• Must bring Photographic I.D.
