Description

This course is intended for candidates who wish to work alone on Network Rail’s infrastructure. It also covers Personal Track Safety re-certification.

• Re-certification is required every two years and consists of a three day classroom based course and assessment.

Accreditation

PQMS Limited will upload the relevant competence outcome(s) and result(s) to the Sentinel system.

Prerequisites

• Must Bring PTS Log book with at least 4 entries
• Must bring Photographic I.D.
• Must be literate and be able to write in English
• Must be minimum of 18 Years of age
• Must hold current track safety card and meet the requirements of NR/L2/CTM/021 – Competence and training in track safety.
• Must meet the requirements of Network Rail standard NR/L2/OHS/00124 medical & NR/L1/OHS/051 drugs and alcohol requirements.
• It is the responsibility of the delegates local manager to decide on their suitability to attend the course, in accordance with the current issue of NR/L2/CTM/021 – Competence and training in track safety.
