All employees who carry out excavation work as part of their general work routine require. For example those requiring training are Operatives, HSEQ Advisors, Managers, Compliance Officers, Managers, Supervisors, Auditors and Authorising Engineers.

Course Aims
To provide delegates with knowledge to avoid danger from underground services while carrying out their daily work routine, whilst meeting the needs of the company, the client and the Health & Safety Executive.
Objective:
delegates will be able to understand and comprehend the main aims of HSG47 and Identify the dangers and hazards associated with underground services. Interpret utility service drawings and use the Cable Avoidance Tool (C.A.T.) & Genny in all three modes.

The course includes Practical activities and assessment, written exams, supported by theory based presentations.
